When Serena Williams isn’t playing tennis, running her fashion line, or being a minority owner of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, the one thing she’s definitely not doing, is sleeping.
Although, according to a new product that she helped create, that’s all about to change. Sheets Brand, best known for their quick-energy Sheets dissolvable strips, have unveiled their newest product — Sleep Sheets. Sleep Sheets are being touted as dissolvable, natural sleep aids, full of natural sleep-aid ingredients such as Chamomile extract.
Williams work in collaboration with Sheets and scientists to help create the sleep-aid strips,
“As an athlete and businesswoman, I’m continuously on-the-go and have had issues sleeping for years,” said Co-FounderSerena Williams. “I’ve tried other products in the past and I am happy that I helped develop Sleep Sheets®. Using them allows me to get a good night’s sleep, which means that I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to start my day. As an added bonus, Sleep Sheets® are extremely portable and conveniently packaged so I can take them anywhere which is perfect for my lifestyle.” (via Press Release)
To coincide with the product launch, and Williams’ endorsement of the product, Sheets has teamed up with Walgreens to develop the “DREAMS COME TRUE” with Sleep Sheets promotion. The promotion, in which a few customers will receive a Willy Wonka-esque golden ticket, will run through July 31st, with the winner receiving an all-expenses paid trip to New York to pal around with Williams.
“We are excited to launch Sleep Sheets exclusively at Walgreens and to have Serena Williams unveil it at our Times Sqquarre location, “said Walgreens district manager Jerry Telson. “By offering innovative new products like Sleep Sheets, we are meeting America’s health and daily living needs and helping our customers live well, stay well and get well.
