For everyone thinking that its hard to keep track of the names of Bowls during College Football bowl season…well, that’s going to continue. But, at least we know who will be securing the naming rights.
Front Row Marketing Services has inked a partnership agreement with Valley of the Sun Bowl Foundation to handle the sale of the naming rights of “the Bowl formerly known as the Insight Bowl“. Front Row will also work with the foundation as a consultant on in other business aspects of the foundation. This deal is the first naming rights deal for the Comcast-Spectacor subsidiary. As expected, their parent company is proud of the deal,
“Front Row Marketing Services continues its rapid growth as a leading company in securing naming rights and sponsorships for international and national leading sporting events,” said Comcast-Spectacor President Peter Luukko. “The former Insight Bowl has taken notice of the outstanding services (Front Row President) Chris Lencheski and his team at Front Row Marketing Services are able to provide them.” (via Press Release)
The former Insight Bowl, with the Bowl’s first iteration being played in 1989, has seen a decent amount of growth in recent years. In 2010, the bowl improved its selection from sixth among the Big Ten and Big 12 conferences to third, and third or fourth amongst those same conferences respectively.
“We continue to increase our consulting and sales platform in the intercollegiate athletic space, and are very proud to be working with Valley of Sun Bowl Foundation on the former Insight Bowl,” said Chris Lencheski, President, Front Row Marketing Services and Front Row Analytics. “The work that has gone into expanding the offerings and opportunities for the former Insight Bowl will make it one of the more attractive brand activation platforms available in the college space, especially for those companies targeting the heartland of the country. We are looking forward to exposing a new slate of companies to all the game and surrounding events have to offer.”
Front Row currently sports a roster featuring many local teams including the Philadelphia Flyers, 76ers, and the University of Temple.
