If it ain’t broke, then don’t try to fix it.
Hawaiian Airlines has once again been named as the official charter airline of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders, according to a press release distributed last week. It is the airline’s 13th consecutive season as the Raiders charter airline.
Under the agreement, the Raiders will fly all Raiders personnel to their various locations and back to Oakland, for 10 different road games this season, and possibly more, depending on if Oakland is able to qualify for the playoffs.
“It’s an honor to be the Raiders’ carrier of choice for all these years. We do all we can to make the team’s travel as easy and comfortable as possible so they can focus all their attention and energy on their games,” Glenn Taniguchi, Hawaiian’s senior vice president of marketing and sales, said in a statement.
Hawaiian Airlines has used their inroads with the Raiders to expand their presence in the NFL — they have also been the charter service provider for the Seattle Seahawks for the past two seasons.
