Starting this season, the Milwaukee Brewers will have a new sponsor for the Milwaukee Brewers Radio Network post-game show.

The sponsor? The Wisconsin Department of Tourism. will be the presenting sponsor of the post-game show for every regular season game in the 2013 season. The post game show will officially be known as the Post Game Show.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

While it may seem odd to promote state tourism in a city within the state (they’re already there…) apparently the partnership will have a positive impact,

“The sponsorship offers co-branding value with the Brewers and provides with a longer statewide presence through the peak summer and fall travel season,” said deputy tourism secretary Dave Fantle. (via Milwaukee Biz Journal)

Brewers fans can hear the Post Game Show on the Brewers flagship station, WTMJ-AM (620).
