Cowboys and Packers
On TV tomorrow night
Some can not watch it.
If you don’t have NFL network what are you waiting for? Oh what? your service provider doesn’t even carry it? Or it’s only part of a premium package? Yeah, you’re probably pretty upset right now…and there isn’t much you can do. So, yes. You will be missing the “NFC Super Bowl”.

The battle between all these mega-corporations for even more money continues to leave “average folks” stuck in the middle. Comcast has spent millions of dollars in advertising defending its decision to not carry the Big Ten Network in the interest of not passing on ridiculous costs to their customers. With all the money they’ve spent defending their decision to NOT carry it, they could HAVE carried it for all their subscribers for free for a full year. How about letting the customers decide? Offer it and if not enough people sign up and make your required 500% profit margin, then shut it down. Hell, I live in Philadelphia and I still don’t get ESPNU. Why don’t I get ESPNU? No one can tell me. No one asks me what I’d be willing to pay for it. Same thing with the Big Ten Network. As for the NFL Network, Comcast’s decision to move it to a pay-tier level means someone who already has digital cable has to pay $5 a month more. That’s a Venti Caramel Macchiato at Starbucks. For those who can’t even afford the digital cable to even have a shot at the NFL Network…see Congress about that.

Do you really think anyone would have cared if the NFL network had two subpar teams on last night? You know like say the Dolphins @ St Louis or something? I think not! I really want to know what kinda deal Direct TV has with the NFL.. If you think about it.. With all the cable companies around the country.. You cant tell me that the NFL would not make more money.. letting other cable companies carry and sell the NFL network in its premium package.. I really want to know what kinda deal they have in place.. to only be dealing with Direct TV..
