Seems to me Boras has been pretty quiet during all this, waiting for things to die down...but it doesn't seem like Alex is going to let that happen any time soon. Unless...there was a conspiracy theory between the two of them the best thing for Alex's future marketing potential would be to play out a scenario where Boras said he was opting out of NYC only to have Alex "return" and paint himself as a misunderstood, true-blooded, 100% Yankee? Nah, that would be to hard to pull off...or are we all fools for not even remotely considering this wasn't actually constructed to go down this way?
