• Troy Polamalu is safe…for now. The NFL tabled the “long hair” issue and approved the radios in defensive helmets.

• LeBron has switched endorsements from PowerAde (didn’t know he did it in the first place…good job PowerAde!) to Vitamin Water, another Coke subsidiary. Also, Adrian Peterson has joined the Vitamin Water fold. In other news, expect a borderline corny commercial similar to 50 cent and the orchestra.

• CollegeFanz has closed its first round of funding, raising somewhere in between $2 and $5 million.

• Vote for Obama and you get a new basketball court! …in the White House. Yeah, you’ll never play on it.
