You stay classy, PGA.

The Professional Golfers Association of America has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with Moet & Chandon champagne. The deal, which was announced last week, will make Moet & Chandon the Official Champagne of the PGA of America. Under the agreement, Moet & Chandon will be present at all important moments of PGA competitions (i.e. the end of tournaments) and PGA fans will also be able to purchase commemorative logoed Moet bottles as keepsakes.

“One of the world’s most recognized champagnes of choice at premier events, The PGA of America is proud that Moet & Chandon will serve as the Official Champagne of The PGA of America,” said PGA of America President Allen Wronowski. “We cannot envision a better addition to the many magical moments at our Championships than Moet & Chandon.”

The partnership between the two parties will begin the PGA’s Ryder Cup tournament, which will take place in Illinois this September. Moet & Chandon’s North American VP, Ludovic du Plessis, expects that the transition into the activation of the partnership will go smoothly,

“Moet & Chandon’s partnership with The PGA of America is a natural,” said du Plessis. “Through the magic of champagne, we look forward to creating unique and unforgettable Moet Moments together with The PGA of America and sharing our sense of celebration in the spirit of success and glamour beginning with the Ryder Cup in September as its Proud Partner.”

The PGA joins numerous other events that feature Moet & Chandon including the America’s Cup, and tennis’ U.S. Open and Roland Garros Barclays ATP World Tennis in London.
