Aly Raisman is showing, once again, that it is possible for Olympians to have marketing power even after the Olympics have ended.
Raisman, a two-time gold medalist at the XXX Olympic Games, has signed an endorsement deal with PANDORA Jewelry, according to a press release issued last week. As a PANDORA endorser, Raisman will be featured in the company’s 2013 print campaign, and will make appearances at various PANDORA stores throughout the country. Raisman is currently on tour with other members of the Womens U.S. Gymnastics team, as a part of Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions.
It is Raisman second post-Olympics sponsorship deal, as she signed a deal with Poland Spring Water, back in August.
“When we think about PANDORA, we instantly begin to think about the women who inspire and encourage us,” said Angel Ilagan, Vice President, Marketing, PANDORA Jewelry, North America. “It goes without saying that this past summer, Aly was among the many women who moved us all, men and women, and inspired others to celebrate the qualities that make us unique. We are thrilled to have Aly join the PANDORA family.”
PANDORA’s motto is to pride itself on offering jewelry that celebrates personal style and individuality. According to Raisman, her love of fashion and her own individuality make her a perfect fit to endorse the PANDORA brand,
“I’m excited to join a brand that inspires women to celebrate who they are and what makes them unique,” said Aly. “From my mom to the 1996 Women’s Gymnastics Team and many more, there have been so many positive women who helped me realize and achieve my dreams. With fashion being a huge interest and passion of mine, I am excited to work with PANDORA and bring some new perspective from the gymnastics world.”
