Chelsea FC has signed a multi-year deal with Delta Air Lines, with Delta becoming the club’s official airline sponsor.
The partnership will be activated this July.
Under the deal, Delta will be known as the “Official Airline Partner of Chelsea FC” and will receive branding exposure at each Chelsea home game, and on the club’s website. The Delta logo will also be visible on all media backboards during interviews conducted at Chelsea’s stadium.
“We’re delighted to sponsor Chelsea FC, a top-flight London club with a fan base of millions throughout Delta’s worldwide network,” said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s senior vice-president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. “Partnering with a leading club in the English Premier League is an exciting way to strengthen our brand both in the UK and around the world while a tie-in with Delta will help build Chelsea’s brand in the U.S.”
Chelsea is joining a long line of sports clubs who have partnered, or are partnering with Delta including MLB’s New York Yankees, the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, and the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings.

To kick off the partnership, Delta is running a promotion where users can visit the airline’s Facebook page and vote for a U.S. city that would host a fare promotion to London this summer.
