Swiss chocolatier Lindt & Sprungli USA has announced a new advertising campaign with tennis star, and Lindt Global Brand Ambassador, Roger Federer. The campaign which is launching just before the beginning of the U.S. Open, features a special commercial entitled “Lost” and is built around Lindt’s “Perfect Match” campaign. Under the campaign, fans will receive the chance to win a trip to the 2013 Sony Ericsson Open, as well as various Lindor products and autographed Roger Federer items.
“Growing up in Switzerland, I have always been a fan of Lindt, and it has been an honor to serve as the Lindt Global Brand Ambassador,” said Federer. “I had a great time taking a break from the tennis court to reprise my role in the new LINDOR commercial, and I am excited for fans to see the final product.”
Under the new sweepstakes, Lindt will also make an exclusive, limited edition Lindor truffle product, featuring Federer, that will be sold at Lindt Chocolate Shops in New York City. As for the commercial itself, it was created by Gotham Inc., and will have its national broadcast debut on September 3rd. In the meantime, Lindt has made the commercial and behind the scenes footage available on their YouTube Page. This new commercial continues after Federer’s first Lindt commercial – entitled “Airport” – with Federer looking for his lost bag full of Lindor Truffles.
