The athletics programs of the University of Notre Dame cares about your weight loss, America.
Notre Dame Athletics has signed a strategic partnership with Medifast; a leading U.S. manufacturer of clinically proven, portion-controlled weight-loss products. The partnership looks to promote the benefits of losing weight with Medifast to Notre Dame’s audience. Highlighting the program will be Notre Dame’s football radio post-game show host, Jack Nolan, who will be chronicling his weight loss journey with Medifast.
“Medifast is at a place in our growth strategy where exposing our brand and helping more people lose weight means getting in front of a national audience,” said Michael C. MacDonald, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Medifast, Inc. “Partnering with one of the most iconic sports brands in the world will allow us to help even more people achieve their weight-loss goals and increase Medifast’s brand awareness.”
Under the campaign, Medifast will receive brand recognition on UND.com, in-game radio advertisements during Notre Dame football broadcasts, and live post-game advertisements (which will be done by Jack Nolan).

The various campaigns will direct Notre Dame football fans to the Medifast website, where they can learn more about the Medifast plan, and general information on weight loss.
