Raise your hand if you’re going to make $51.3 million next season.
A-Rod. Ronaldinho. Everyone. Take notes, and learn who this guy is.

This guy is Fernando Alonso. He is a 26 year old, Formula one race car driver. Alonso will be returning to Renault, the racing team where he got his start, and won back-to-back titles in 2005-06. This is after spending a very tumultuous 07′ season with McLaren. Alonso was released from McLaren back in October, mostly due to poor relations with his teammate Lewis Hamilton and his boss Ron Dennis.
So, how much is Alonso getting to return to Renault? $51.3 million per season for two years.
Like I said…A-Rod, Ronaldinho…everyone. Take note.
So, what’s the over/under on Scott Boras trying to get into the racing business? In the meantime, though, Sports Agent Blog is reporting that Boras has wrestled Red Sox standout Jacoby Ellsbury away from his previous agent, Joe Urbon. Boras sure does keep busy, doesn’t he?
