I am very much an isolationist when it comes to keeping what we currently know as professional American sports to ourselves. I don't want games outside the country, I don't want teams outside the country...if people in other parts of the globe want to watch or follow the games in our leagues they have every chance to do so via various forms of distribution. I'm sure if there is an audience in another part of the world for any sporting event or sport someone will always be there to capture the rights, sell the ads and make oodles of money off of doing so. There's a big difference in letting people watch...and play...our games than actually being host to the games. Players from overseas are finding their way onto pro hockey and basketball teams just fine without having to set up franchises over there. Come to our shores if you want to participate and always feel free to watch from a distance, but don't expect our sports to relocate to your "part of town." Build the walls and fill up the moats...keep our sports in the U.S. of A.
